Rest 

Rest is incredibly important to your physical and mental health. Your human body is a system. This system requires basic maintenance to keep it running smoothly, healthy. This includes water, food, elimination, and rest. 

Too many of us run on very little rest, true rest. We are too busy putting our worth into the services/products we give to others, ignoring the signals from our bodies because we don't want to deal with our trauma/inner thoughts/life choices. For most people, it's easier to pretend all these things aren't happening. If you keep going, it will all go away, right? Wrong. It will eventually catch up with you. If you do not let your body rest habitually, it will decide to rest for you at the most inconvenient times. 

It's time to rest your body and mind. It's time to make sure you allowing deep sleep to happen for your body/mind to heal. It's time to let your body/mind rest when you can't focus, are fatigue, have illnesses, or when you body screams. Integrate rest into your everyday self care routine, and you will feel amazing every day. Take care of your system, the body/mind.
